So the Bartenders are doing their tour around Sri Lanka. Imagine our surprise that during our long bus trip we suddenly were caught up in a professional cycling match….on the busy roads of Sri Lanka. These boys must have no fear.
The bus trip was an adventure on its own. Not just the traffic but we stopped over and saw a 73 year old Sri Lankan climb a tree to get us coconuts, We tried all kinds of food , spices dried fish and some of the local beer. I mean, Tea is great but sometimes you just need a beer 🙂
When we arrived at the low level tea production centre we were welcomed with so much love, again.
We got a tour through the factory and were amazed by the level of dedication of the workers.
After that we had (again) an sublime lunch at one of the tea estates. After lunch we played a little cricket.
Jacob made one of has drinks that was filmed by our cameracrew and will surely be online soon.
We all agreed the first 3 days were amazing , we feel that we’ve been on the road for at least a week.
And we still have many days to come.
Truly looking forward to the things to come.
