BEING CHASED BY BUFFALO

So the past few days were terrific. Arriving at the tentcamp at night in Yala national Park suceeded all our expactations. A late dinner with a bonfire, while we could hear the waves tumbling. What an amazing experience.
We had get up early…really early`Not something bartenders are welknown for. But by 06.00 hour we were on our way to the safari in the national park. Nothing prepared us on the experience of seeing elephants in the wild. But not just the elephants, around every corner there were beautiful birds, snakes , spiders crocodiles, deers, mongooses and a lot of peacocks. The trip was not completed, until we were actually being chased by a wild buffalo, yelling to the driver to step on it.

MOVIE STAR

Back at the camp we had breakfast and after that I was asked to do a shoot with the film crew. We choose a beautiful location at the beach in the sun. When we started it was noon and when we finished it was three in the afternoon. Those 3 hours in the sun was gruelsome but the drink I made was worth it, You can probably see the clip somewhere within the next two weeks.
Sri Lanka Yala National Park
My drink was based on two Dilmah teas. The Breakfast Brilliance(a ceclon tea with a bold flavor) and the Dilmah peppermint leaves tea . I added some Bols barrel Aged Genever, Some applejuice, fresh ginger and lemongrass. It came out as a very refreshing beverage with some nice citrus notes, a zingy ginger and refreshing apple-mint all bound together by the Bols Genever and the Dilmah tea
The drink can be drank warm or stired with ice and enjoyed cold.
